Es gibt kein spezielles Löschprogramm für IDocs.
Es sind die Programme der Archivierung anzuwenden. IDoc ist eine eigene Archivierungsklasse. Folgende Programme stehen zur Verfügung:

Die Archivierung von IDocs prüft gegen den erreichten Status. Welche Status archivierbar sind und welche nicht, ist in der Tabelle "Statuspflege" hinterlegt. Die Standardeinstellungen können verändert werden. Menüpfad: Bereichsmenü "WEDI", Steuerung, Statuspflege.
Die Archivierung ist in der Dokumentation 'Die IDoc-Schnittstelle für EDI' beschrieben.

!Clean up and Archiving
you need to distinguish data archiving and optical archiving. Optical data are forms or letters like scanned papers. Data archiving can be done with SAP on the fly with transaction SARA, if you just want to get the data out of the database and into some files on the server. When you have written the data to files you can delete them. You can have a look into the data in the files via SAP, but here there are some restrictions depending on the archive object. In CPC we have an add-on called PBS, which adds several transactions, which look like the original ones, but go into the archived data. Those start with /pbs/<original transaction>. But I have not checked this add on in detail yet. With optical archiving I have also no experience, but here you should have a solid external storage system like IXOS and and then you need to link the optical data to any keys (like personal ID) in the database (like in transaction OAM1).
Before you archive, you can of course consider, if the need exists, e.g. if somebody really need to look after the data or if you can delete them instead straight away. In this matter you need to consider also the retention period and legal restrictions. This must be checked individually.

For the Unicode migration we archived the IDocs and table loggings (table DBTABLOGS). Additionally we purged (just deleted) the simulation booking to FI (see PPOIX/PPOPX). You should also have a look to the spools (TST03), batch input maps (APQ*) and system dumps (SNAP) which may be cleaned as well. Especially for HR you may also look to PCL2 and PCL4, but we haven't approached them yet also.
To analyse a table you can use transaction TAANA. Depending on the settings you can see also how the data are splitted.
