Transfer profile#
see support1. save profil
- the profile's storage is by default under %APPDATA%\Thunderbird\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\ (= C:\Users\<Benutzername>\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\)
- to be sure check within Thunderbird > Menu > Hilfe > Informationen zur Fehlerbehebung > Button "Ordner öffnen"
- save whole xxxxxxxx.default to a save place
2. restore on other place
- copy content of xxxxxxxx.default into an existing profile folder, if you don't have one create one with the profile manager
Move profile#
- open %APPDATA%\Thunderbird\profiles.ini
- update Path=...<new profile>...
- in case change IsRelative=1 (use "/") or IsRelative=0 (use "\")

- import settings with Einstellungen > Allgemein > Einstellungen verwalten > Einstellungen importieren > Open file
