Update / Upgrade#

To update current version see Apt.
To upgrade to a new Linux version, you need to change the source for packages and run an update like before.

vi /etc/apt/sources.list
    deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ buster main

Note: check additional sources specified wihtin folder sources.list.d

MySQL / MariaDB#

Get version => 10.3.27-MariaDB-0+deb10u1#

mysql -u <user> -p
select version();

Upgrade / Storage#

After upgrading from Debian 9 to 10, mysql was gone. I installed MariaDB on top:

apt-get install mariadb-server
(mysql_secure_installation)

Start: /etc/init.d/mysql
Config: folder /etc/mysql/...
Log: /var/log/mysql
Bin: 
    /usr/bin/mysql 
    /usr/bin/mysqladmin
    /usr/sbin/mysqld
Database: folder /var/lib/mysql

Apache Tomee => TomEE webprofile 8.0.5 (Tomcat 9.0.39)#

Get Version#

Not possible, it is TomEE webprofile 8.0.5 TAR/GZ

TomEE webprofile TAR/GZ and tar xvf * Enable Apache HTTP with Tomcat
Note: NEW attribute address and secretRequired necessary !!!
