Update / Upgrade#
To update current version see Apt.To upgrade to a new Linux version, you need to change the source for packages and run an update like before.
vi /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ buster main
Note: check additional sources specified wihtin folder sources.list.d
MySQL / MariaDB#
Get version => 10.3.27-MariaDB-0+deb10u1#
mysql -u <user> -p select version();
Upgrade#
After upgrading from Debian 9 to 10, mysql was gone. I installed MariaDB on top:apt-get install mariadb-server (mysql_secure_installation)
